This website was published in September of 2022 and has since been updated quite a bit by our website team.
Our team has several goals throughout the semester. The main goal is to keep this website updated and running. The website team from the Fall of 2023 was able to make the website much easier to find, as well as organize the website into categories, making it easier to navigate. Being able to find the site through a Google search was important, as it would bring in more traffic to our site and spread the information provided further.
Another huge project the team had to take on was updating the scholarship database on the website. Before fall 2023, the scholarship database was just an unorganized spreadsheet, which was then taken and integrated into our website. The next goal is to make the database easier to search, as well as update any outdated information.
Our goals for this semester include updating the website with more information about EmpowerUP, adding information about college alternatives, and continuing to improve our website’s ability to be found on Google.
