This project centers on creating a comprehensive renewal plan for HuskyFAN that improves pantry operations, marketing, and strategic positioning while preserving its low-barrier, confidential access model. Students assess current workflows, volunteer coordination, hours consistency, and data use to identify operational improvements that enhance efficiency and reliability. The project also emphasizes clearer, more inclusive marketing and outreach to increase student awareness and normalize pantry use across campus. Through short and medium-term strategic planning, partnership development, and ethical, data-informed recommendations, the team delivers practical solutions to strengthen HuskyFAN’s impact on food security at Michigan Tech.
