We are the Undergraduate Research Internship Program. We focus on helping research pathways for those in the U.P. to reach a secondary education. Currently, we are finishing up our final paper and presentation, and look forward to completing it.
The Undergraduate Research Internship Program (URIP) is open to all Tech undergraduates who are interested in engaging in a research experience in a faculty member’s laboratory. Participating in high-caliber undergraduate research at Michigan Tech provides a unique chance to collaborate closely with professors while honing skills that distinguish you. Whether your aspirations lead you to further studies in graduate or medical school or you simply crave a deeper learning experience, there’s a research avenue tailored to you here.
Our student researchers showcase their findings at Tech’s annual Undergraduate Research and Scholarship Symposium, national conferences, and even contribute to peer-reviewed journal articles prior to graduation. Engaging in authentic research not only enriches your academic journey but also enhances your overall value.
